The Red Zone Tour cost is 100$ for 1 person, 65$ each if there are two, $55 each if there are 3 or $50 each for 4 persons including pickup at any place in or near central Vallarta. The prices for more that one person are applicable when the guests are picked up at the same place. The tour is available on any night by special request - just make a reservation!
Here`s what to do:
1) Pick a night to go. (Sundays and Mondays aren’t very good)
2) Buy your ticket at: http://www.puertovallartatours.me/redzonetour.html
3) Email us and tell us where you are staying and the room number.
4) We’ll confirm the reservation and if you`re not in south, central or marina Vallarta, we`ll pick a place to meet. Remember that we don’t do pickups in Nuevo Vallarta.
5) You’ll be picked up on time and we`ll have lot’s of fun!
The Red Light District tour starts about 9 PM and goes until about 2 or 3 AM. The tour is completely safe and you´ll see brothels and meet girls that range in price from 400 pesos and up. These are the places where the locals go and are hardly ever seen by gringos! It´ll be fun, safe and an experience you`ll never forget!

• What other expenses there are besides the tour fee?
Only the drinks that you buy during the night. We don’t have to pay any cover charges at any of the places we visit and most of the places only charge 25-35 pesos a beer. If you buy drinks for the girls, they can run between 50 and 120 pesos (4-10$) each. So the amount you spend is up to you...
• Are we expected to pay your expenses? One of the guys said he looked into a similar deal once and the tour guy expected my friend to buy all his drinks, pay entrance fees, pay for girls for him, etc.
No, you don’t pay ANY of your guide’s expenses. To start with, your driver generally doesn’t drink while he’s driving you around. There are no entrance fees and you certainly don’t need to buy him girls. He will, however, wait for you while you are with a girl, if you find one that you can’t resist (which most people do!). Keep in mind that you can tip your guide if you feel so inclined!
• Will you pick us up and drop us off at our hotel?
Yes, or any other place that is between the romantic zone and the marina.
• If we go will there be any other people on the tour besides us?
The answer to this is that you can have a private tour if you request it, or it can be limited to your group. Who comes depends on who calls and wants to go on any given night.
• Where exactly will you take us?
The tour is customized for each person or group depending on their interests but generally we will visit:
1) One of the locations where there are streetwalkers in Puerto Vallarta.
2) Two or more brothels that may or may not be disguised as bars.
3) A few low end Mexican strip clubs where there is no cover and the beers are generally about $2.50 (30 pesos)

After being hesitant to take the Red Zone Tour, especially as a couple, we are very happy we went. We have been to PV many times but have never seen some of the places you are taken on this tour. We would definitely take the tour again and we would not have any reservations about going to the places we went that night on our own. There is no pressure at any point to make you feel uncomfortable. You are free to partake or just be a spectator.
If you are on the fence about going on this tour, our advice would be to get off the fence and go! Definitely something a couple can participate in as well as singles. Go out and see another side of beautiful PV!
